Mid-Century Sconces from Limburg, 1960s, Set of 2

A set of two wall lamps manufactured by the renowned German manufacturer Glashütte Limburg, known for its perfect craftsmanship and modernist forms. The lampshades are made of colorless glass with a distinctive geometric texture that beautifully refracts and diffuses light, giving it a crystal-like depth. Each of the wall lamps has an original crystal switch, which is a rare detail and further increases its collector's value. The structured glass creates decorative reflections while providing pleasant, even accent lighting. A solid metal base combined with massive glass is a characteristic feature of Limburg designs. Both wall lamps are preserved in their original, very good vintage condition and are fully functional. Limburg wall lamps are an example of perfect German modernism – simple, geometric, and at the same time sophisticated.
