8 Art Deco plates in pink and blue – Czechoslovakia – 1930s

Set of 9 antique plates in Czechoslovak porcelain with Art Deco decoration. On a powder pink background, small stylised flowers in various shades of blue are highlighted by particularly fine black graphics. A wide deep blue border, finished with a delicate metallic line, structures the whole and gives it a lot of character. This composition is characteristic of the aesthetics of the 1920s-1930s. Green stamp with a crown and the mention "Czechoslovakia". In beautiful vintage condition, the porcelain and decorations are well preserved. There are some minor signs of use as well as occasional wear to the metallic line on the border and a small chip visible on the edge of one of the plates (see photos). Diameter 19.5 cm. A powder pink, an almost electric blue, and floral graphics: an Art Deco palette that seems to have been designed for today's interiors.
