These sturdy old knotted pile rugs come from the western anatolian region of oushak and isparta. They were made between 1940 and 1960. They have now been recycled to create a thoroughly unique, modern, and colorful floor covering. The pile on these old/new rugs has been pared back, the original dyes neutralized, then the rug over-dyed with a deeply saturated single color.
