Small antique wall mirror in turned bamboo-style wood, 19th century, 38 x 32 cm

Small antique wall mirror dating from the second half of the 19th century, with a turned wooden frame in a bamboo style very typical of the period. The original mercury glass measures 21 X 15 cm and has a marked patina, with pitting and wear characteristic of antique mirrors. The whole measures 38 X 32 cm in total, taking into account the turned elements in relief. An original black metal chain allows it to be easily hung on the wall. The back is closed by an antique hardwood panel, stenciled (reverse inscription) "21 X 15", corresponding to the dimensions of the glass. The wood has a beautiful natural patina, with some marks of use without structural defects. A decorative mirror with an authentic aesthetic, perfect for a rustic, bohemian or early 20th century decoration.
