This vintage vegetable (or soup) comes from the digoin sarreguemines earthenware factory. This is the stendhal model. The button of the lid, entirely gilded, gives it charm and elegance. It is in a state of use (a small sheer is to be deplored on the inside edge and the gilding is a little tired in places cf. Photos).
