Liturgical bench with fruit wood backrest - french work - nineteenth century. Good original condition and solid. Peg mounting. Very nice patina. Ancient traces of attacks of xylophagous insects, treated since as a precaution. (see photo). We like the proportions and its small footprint on the ground. The vague pattern of the lower and upper sleepers of the backrest bring a graphic and very decorative touch.
