Private Kay Bojesen Denmark

Wooden soldier, vintage mid-twentieth century toy, protective guard of the royal house of denmark. In lacquered beech, handmade in a small workshop not far from copenhagen. By the designer kay bojesen (1886-1958) to whom we owe (among others) the famous articulated wooden monkey, icon of design. Made in denmark (it is marked on the crotch) Of course it has some marks of time but remains in good condition and very decorative. Width 7cm, height 22cm. Depth 4cm, weight 200g.
