Stoneware bowl signed Fontgombault

Adorable little stoneware bowl with a beautiful speckled glaze in olive green and khaki green tones. It can be used as a pocket emptier, a coin tray, a ring sizer or even a bowl to serve a sauce or a vinaigrette, or simply to complete a collection of small ceramics... It is hand-signed intaglio below the letters N, D, F, G around a cross, which is one of the markings of the ceramics created by the monks of the Abbey of Fontgombault. It is a beautiful handcrafted work of throwing and glazing which probably dates from the 70s. It is in good condition, no cracks, no chips, not even a chip, perhaps just a slight wear of the glaze at the bottom of the bowl, unless it is original. It measures 10.5 cm in diameter and 3.5 cm high.
