Shell chair type 1020 in jacquard velvet with tiger pattern, Europe, 1960s

Beautiful chair type 1020 nicknamed shell produced by the Slupsk industrial furniture centre in the 1960s in Poland. Fully renovated upholstery and carpentry redone. The seat and backrest are covered in a durable and pleasant-to-touch Italian jacquard velvet fabric with a tiger pattern. Fabric composition: 52% CV 35% CO 13% PES. The chair is a tribute to mid-century modern style with a beech structure and textile finish.
