Launched in 1972 by de sede, the famous ds-600 sofa draws its particularity from individual modular elements. Popular and surprising by its organic shape, even zoomorphic this sofa "snake" is a must of design. The base is rectangular in shape covered with brown felt. Each element consists of an l-shaped vintage foam core. The structure is made of wood, the seat and back are made of foam slices trimmed with down and covered with camel leather. The modules are assembled by a system of metal hinges and invisible zippers. With its variable design, the ds-600 adapts to subjective configurations. It has been completely reupholstered. There are 21 "slices" here. Composition: • felt covering the base: 70% wool, 20% polyester, 5% polyamide and 5% other fibres. Abrasive resistance in iso 12 974, 100 000 turns of martindale. • trim: vintage foam. • leather: pull-up, leather that during their manufacture at the stage of wrought skin received a higher rate of fat or oil. This process makes it possible to create soft leathers, resistant in particular to traction and easy to maintain. Dimensions per module: ( 21 available ) H: 74 l: 24 p: 100.
