Large vintage ceramic lamp base in yellow – 1960s

Sleek and bright, this superb vintage lamp base in glossy yellow ceramic captivates with its particularly elegant silhouette. Its tapered, almost sculptural shape evokes the decorative creations of the 1960s-1970s, where bold colours and slender lines held a prominent place in interior design. The ceramic is covered with a beautiful shiny yellow glaze, perfectly preserved, which admirably captures the light. The flared base ensures excellent stability, while the golden metal socket highlights the verticality of the whole. The lampshade visible in a photograph is shown for illustration purposes and is not included in the sale. The lamp base works with a standard E27 bulb (not supplied). The whole is in very good condition, with no notable defects. Only a small fragment of plastic is missing from the golden tightening ring intended to hold the lampshade. This detail does not affect its proper support and is completely invisible once the lampshade is in place.
