Asian Ikebana ceramic wall vase

#ikebana is not only floral art, but also a form of meditation, creativity, an artistic and spiritual expression putting mother nature at the forefront, the origin of all life. * This sumptuous hanging wall vase, handcrafted and of Japanese origin, is made of white clay stoneware ceramic, with a beautiful shiny enamelling. The motifs representing a Japanese garden are in relief and polychrome. It seems to me that a small restoration has taken place, judging by the flow of enamel, but also by the texture of cement mixed with pieces of clay poured at the bottom. All of this adds a certain very natural imperfection which contributes to the charm of this vase in my opinion. The back of the vase is unglazed, and it has a mounting hole so it can be attached to a support of your choice. * As for the writing, I was able to decipher that it is Japanese katakana, and I managed to find the writing of “grandson of…” the rest I was not able to identify! * It is in very good condition, without cracks, with some glaze imperfections and natural wear due to firing, but also to artisanal work.
