Office table and its 50s shelf in oak

Office table and its oak shelf, vintage year 50. Beautiful modernist ensemble, period, solid oak and veneered. I completely unvarnished it because the varnish was damaged and passed, I scraped it, sanded it a little and I replated a small piece of oak that was missing (see photos). The finish is waxed.
