Delightful tea set in black glazed earthenware from the sarreguemines earthenware factory. This set is decorated with arabesques, rinceaux and flowers in gold, blue, yellow and orange tones. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, ceramics produced in england were very popular in france. To meet this craze, the sarreguemines pottery, decided to meet this demand and some creations will also be covered with a black engobe inspired by tea and coffee sets model "victoria" of the last quarter of the nineteenth century created especially for the queen by the gibson & son pottery. These latest productions will bear the name "rockingham." Our service is composed of 16 pieces broken down as follows: Period: xixth.
