Antique Chinese Lidded Jar

A fine chinese kangxi period blue and white lidded vase or ginger jar depicting a noble man mounted on a mythical beast and being escorted by his entourage. The lid depicting bats in flight. Of particular note is the signature, reverse of art work. Having been closely inspected in day light and with black light, all is in vey good order with no damage. The vase has the occasional pitting from the firing process and exhibits two blue circles to the base and lid. The carved wooden base is included in the lot, however this is of a much more recent date. Weight 850 g. Stand 80 g. Height without stand 21 cm. Hight with stand 25 cm. Uk shipping is free.
