Superb porcelain bird figurine by Giuseppe Armani (Florence, Italy)

Magnificent vintage biscuit porcelain sculpture signed by the famous Italian artist Giuseppe Armani. It depicts a finely modelled and hand-painted bird perched on its flowering branch with small wild fruits. The piece is mounted on its original varnished wooden base. Please note a small chip on the edge of a porcelain leaf (visible in the illustrative photos but almost imperceptible in reality), hence the low price, but the piece remains superb and retains all its charm as a collectible. The colours and original patina are delicate and well-preserved.
