Thonet Chair No. 737, circa 1920 by Otto Prutscher

Chair of the model N°738 of Thonet and Mundus, here stamped Thonet, obviously datable to 1920/25, naturally attributable to Otto Prutscher. I refer for information purposes to the photo of the N°738 XI even more typical of the work of Prutscher. The only documentation, in PJ; that can be seen on this model comes from the book by Jiri Uhlir where he writes: "The chair 738 Thonet, which has been very successful, is still distributed in fusion with Mundus. In total, 9 variants have been produced, marked by Roman numerals. Here is the basic model of the Category 738" This chair is in perfect original condition, it has been little used, it never seems to have been produced in number. Stamp and label.
