Old Digoin Earthenware Soup Tureen - Jacquot Model

Superb ceramic vegetable dish / soup tureen in the shape of a lion, and its matching dish, with a typical moustiers decor: it features a few characters in blue clothes surrounded by a profusion of green and orange plants. A lion's mouth in relief as well as paw-shaped feet add to the charm of the object. A fine example of french craftsmanship that will delight lovers of old tableware. Very good condition.
