Lamp base in glazed ceramic, of Spanish origin, dating from the mid-20th century (1950s–1970s). This piece is distinguished by: • a deep blue glaze with nuanced, marbled effects and light drips, • an elegant spherical shape, topped with a finely crafted neck, • an incised monogram under the glaze, indicating artisanal workshop production. The craftsmanship of the neck, rarely so refined on this type of lamp, and the richness of the glaze suggest a quality manufacture, typical of Spanish workshops producing decorative pieces for export during this period. Note: a glaze irregularity related to the firing, visible on the body. This feature, predating use, is characteristic of handmade pieces and contributes to the unique character of the object. The lamp is sold without a shade, allowing the future buyer to choose freely. A natural linen or ecru shade would be perfect to highlight it. Condition: Very good vintage condition. No cracks or chips. Functional electricity (later fitting, in line with the practices of the time). Bulb not included.
