A large table lamp in space age style designed by carlo nason for mazzega in the 1970s is made of handblown white and mottled murano glass. The steel base and the upper globe in mottled glass, joined by a futuristic element composed of two rings, enhance the space age design, based on the idea of the world after the success of atomic energy and space trips. The lower and upper sections are joined by chrome-plated steel. The foot double-switch makes it easy to turn on the lamp in miscellaneous combinations of lighting, individual elements, or the entire piece. Carlo nason’s design is one of the most recognizable in terms of the italian mid-century modern style of blown glass murano lighting and is closely associated with mazzega. Our team has meticulously inspected and verified the lamp’s flawless functionality. It remains in excellent original vintage condition. The plug and switch are original and fully functional. The switch has two buttons, one turns on the upper part and the second on the lower part. You can run them separately or together. The lamp requires an e27 bulb type. Additional dimensions: * diameter of the globe: 41 cm. * base dimensions: h: 63/ w: 34/d: 34 cm. * cord 230 cm long.
