Two solid trestle bases, firmly connected and secured by interlocking wooden wedges and rails, support the rustic tabletop. The tabletop is freely movable and can be shifted flexibly. The same applies to the underlying drawer, which features a fine wooden knob handle. According to the previous owner, this piece dates back to the 18th century.
