Three-drawer chest in black-stained wood, decorated with chrome metal strips. Rectangular handles covered in beige-camel velvet and highlighted with chrome reeds. Overhanging base covered in the same fabric and encircled with chrome metal. According to information provided by the current owner, this chest is said to have been purchased at the time from Maison Roméo in Paris. No purchase documents, stamps, labels, or markings confirming this provenance have been found, so the attribution to Maison Roméo is given with reservation and solely based on this oral provenance. Wear and signs of age. The covered handles show friction, soiling, and variations in colour, with more pronounced wear on some edges. A metal fixture is missing on the handle of the top drawer.
