Vintage glass trivet or hot plate, attributed to the belMondo / becker-design series. Its sculptural construction consists of textured glass elements of varying heights, arranged in a circle around a central space for a tea light candle. It keeps a small teapot, coffee pot, or serving dish warm. A beautiful decorative object with an organic and particularly luminous design, which can also be used as a candle holder or centrepiece. The original manufacturer's label bearing the inscription "Glasdesign Georgshütte – Handarbeit" is still present. It shows some signs of age but remains clearly identifiable. The mention "Handarbeit" indicates handcrafted production. Attributed series: belMondo / becker-design. Manufacturer: G. Becker & Co., Georgshütte glassworks, Boffzen. Origin: West Germany.
