Rare Pierre Vandel dining table in brushed aluminum with a tinted glass top. This table is one of the pieces created by Pierre Vandel at the very beginning of his career as a designer and is usually dated 1972, a period during which he developed tables, lamps, and armchairs in aluminum, including the famous Vertèbre armchair, which were produced in limited editions. It was only after his collaboration with Marais that Vandel's production became prolific and therefore less sought after. The base is remarkably simple, consisting of a main shaft to which "helixes" are attached, secured with screws. The entire piece is made of brushed aluminum, a highly innovative material in the early 1970s. It is in very good condition, with slight signs of wear on the aluminum and the original tinted glass top. A detailed certificate of authenticity will be provided to the buyer. Dimensions: Height 73 cm, diameter of the tinted glass top 120 cm.
