Coffee table in gilded brass and veined green marble

Magnificent rectangular coffee table in neoclassical style that adapts to any type of decoration. Brass and gilded metal base consisting of four fluted feet joined by a spacer decorated with 2 semi-circles. The top is made of deep veined green marble. It is simply laid and easily detached if necessary. Work of the twentieth century, in the taste of the house baguès. Condition: correct state taken as a whole but presents many traces of wear and use: tensioning on an angle, oxidation of the metal more or less pronounced on certain parts, stains and wear of the gilding sometimes important beyond and in particular on the spacer. The inner edges were covered with white paint probably due to rust spikes. Small white and brown spots on the marble without disfiguring it and loss of shine and backlit marks.
