Large stoneware dish with grooved decoration, in the style of Pieter Groeneveldt

Large handcrafted ceramic dish with a speckled olive green glaze, bordered by a vertical incised decoration evoking the pieces of Pieter Groeneveldt or the Dutch school of the 60s and 70s. The contrast between the rough texture, the black streaks and the yellow/green glaze gives the whole a sculptural presence. A good-sized piece, heavy and stable, ideal as a pocket emptier, a presentation dish or simply as a raw and graphic decorative object. Very good vintage condition. Dimensions: Ø 22 cm XH 8.5 cm. Weight: 1.36 kg. Circa 1960–1970.
