Series of 6 glasses cups 1920 in crystal engraved guilloché in pantogravure 9.2Ht

These beautiful glasses are made of baccarat crystal. There are 6 of them, this is a rare model: the lenses are ovoid in shape. We recognize this form of cup in the gouvieux service engraved with volutes (last photo as an example). The pantogravure décor is superb: a guilloché ornament of delicate scrolls. This technique is presented at the baccarat museum: the glass was coated with a wax and the decoration is drawn with a needle in pantogravure in wax, then the glass is immersed in an acid bath that attacks the crystal bare. The name of the model must be identified. These old glasses are not signed (baccarat engraved its signature from 1936). In stock you will find a decanter of this same service and two other sizes of glasses. In very good condition, they measure 6.7 cm X 9.2 cm in height.
