Finn Juhl series 500 coffee table in teak – France & Søn – Denmark

Original coffee table from the 500 series, designed by Finn Juhl and produced by France & Søn, Danish production from the 1950s–60s. An iconic model of Scandinavian modernism, this coffee table stands out for the accuracy of its proportions, the finesse of its sculpted edge, and the elegance of its tapered legs, characteristics of Finn Juhl's work. The solid teak top features a warm grain and a perfectly balanced line. The table is stamped France & Søn – Made in Denmark and is numbered. It is in excellent structural condition. An unsuitable previous renovation has been completely redone by hand, with a full stripping, to restore a healthy and homogeneous surface, respecting the wood, volumes, and original lines.
