I offer this superb and rare glazed ceramic vase from the famous Amphora factory (Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel), produced in Turn-Teplitz (Bohemia, former Czechoslovakia) during the Art Deco period (circa 1920-1925). This model belongs to the prestigious "Campina" line, particularly sought after for its stylised animal decorations and textured glazes. Highlights of this piece: Iconic decoration: An exotic parrot in vibrant colours (cobalt blue, pink, emerald green, and brown) depicted in relief on a flowering branch. The work of the outlined glazes recalls the cloisonné technique. Imposing size: With a rare height of 40 cm and a generous base of 24 cm, this vase has an exceptional decorative presence. Technical details: The neck is framed by two geometric openwork handles typical of the Art Deco style. The base features a speckled blue and grey appearance that enhances the polychromy of the central decoration. Condition: Excellent.
