Jewelry box, rosewood, Louis Philippe era, nineteenth century

Very beautiful native wood box with rounded lid and decorated with two bands of marquetry. The interior, upholstered in yellow velvet, has two movable compartments whose lids are equipped with faceted glass beads acting as handles. The box has its original key and its lock is in working order. France Louis-Philippe period, about 1840.
