Old blown glass gob bottle

This old fly gob is made of blown glass. It can be used to catch flies or wasps. It can be placed on the ground, thanks to its small glass feet applied hot or hanging it with a cord wrapped around the neck. A sweet liquid is poured into it and the insect succumbs to it when it enters from below. The neck is clogged with a cork or a glass capsule. In good general condition, it bears the marks of its manufacture: bubbles in the glass. This fly gob measures 20 X 16 cm.
