Pair of vintage garden wall shelves, circa 40's/50's

Pair of classic French garden shelves, circa 40/50. They were part of a garden furniture set. The 2 shelves have metal tops with rounded & smooth edges & curved wrought iron scroll supports. Just below the tops, at the back, there are wooden bars. Each shelf has 6 holes: 2 on each support and 2 on the wooden bars, allowing them to be fixed to the wall using screws (not supplied). The shelves can be mounted side by side, one on top of the other or placed in other positions (see photos). The 2 shelves have obviously been repainted over the years and are a creamy ivory color (see photos). The pieces are in good overall, original, vintage condition. I preferred to clean them and preserve their original states rather than paint them. They have some marks, signs of age and previous use consistent with time, as well as a patina of time on the entire structures, as they have been used outdoors (see various photos). One of the shelves has a mark on the back, both on the metal and the wood, which are flush with each other. This appears to have been done intentionally, so that they match (see photos). Some old areas of peeling and discolored paint on both shelves, as you would expect given their age and use (see photos). Both shelves are heavy, solid and stable. They have only been gently cleaned, respecting their original condition and the patina of time. They are perfect for mounting on a patio or garden wall, or in a conservatory, on a balcony to put herbs or plants or other garden decorations.
