Vintage Spanish low chair in painted wood and straw (Majorca Andalusia)

Superb low chair of traditional Spanish craftsmanship (Andalusia), late 19th - early 20th century. The structure is entirely carved from wood (with floral and bird motifs), painted red with subtle golden highlights. The seat, made of woven sea rush, is in perfect condition. A characterful piece with a magnificent authentic patina and slight signs of wear that add to its charm. Please refer to the photos for details. A bench in the same style is also for sale in my shop.
