Gothic Revival library hand-carved by Pugin

We are pleased to offer this magnificent antique library dating from around 1860-1880, in the Gothic Revival Pugin style, finely carved over its entire surface as shown in the images. This sculptural piece features ornate details on every square centimetre of the front faces, sides, and top. The base includes two cupboards, and the main body has sliding glass doors that were added later but can be removed if the new owner wishes. In good condition, it has been cleaned, waxed, and polished, with some light patina marks. The unique top shelf is curved with age. Height: 136 cm, Width: 140 cm, Depth: 37.5 cm.
