Desk table, kitchen table, vintage 1950s oak side table.

A small adaptable vintage table with authentic charm, beautifully crafted from laminated wood and solid wood, featuring a large drawer, completely renovated. Originally a bedside table, made in the 1950s, it has managed to withstand the test of time while retaining its unique charm. With beautiful proportions, it is elegant yet robust, now suitable for use as a desk, kitchen table, or side table, easily fitting into all styles of decor. Its subtle design and quality materials make it a true asset for those who appreciate the combination of aesthetics and functionality in their furniture. In good working condition, it has been fully renovated, sanded, and carefully treated to ensure its durability. The delicately tapered legs, beautifully rounded at the top, the apron, the drawer, and the tabletop frame, all made from solid wood, reflect artisanal craftsmanship, while their satin varnish finish adds a touch of sophistication. The laminated wood tabletop has been treated with a colourless wax to nourish it and enhance the ornate solid frame, creating a harmonious visual contrast. Upon request, a satin varnish can also be applied for easier maintenance. The original brass handle has been meticulously restored. The inside of the drawer, clean and assembled with dovetail joints, reflects the attention to detail. For a nice finish, a taupe adhesive has been applied, completing the overall look of the table. The table is perfectly stable and without cracks. The wood is smooth and does not snag, with beautiful finishes. It should be noted that despite the careful renovation, there are tiny normal signs of use that in no way detract from its romantic charm, but rather give it a story to tell.
