Birillo table and floor lamp by Carlo Nason for Mazzega. Italy, 1970s. Murano glass. Two blown glass diffusers, separated by a chrome-plated metal element onto which they are screwed. The lower one is made of smoked transparent glass. The upper one is made of white opaline glass. The bulbs can be switched on simultaneously or separately. Double switch. Superb condition, although it may show some signs of age. Only the lamp holder inside the diffuser is pitted. The wiring has been professionally redone, retaining the original elements. No labels or inscriptions are present. However, the workmanship, design, and materials used are very similar to the works of C. Nason for Mazzega. Hence the attribution.
