Rocking-chair in beech by Ton

Very sophisticated Rocking Chair designed and manufactured by the Czech company TON in the 1960s. This factory was opened in 1861 as a folded furniture factory and is today one of the oldest in the world. It is no coincidence that its founder Michael Thonet, whose plant was originally named, chose this place. Surrounded by beech forests offering enough material for the manufacturing process. In 1953, the company was renamed TON (short for Tov-narna Oh-baného N-bytku - folded furniture factory). The chair is marked and made of beech wood and has the original upholstery. In my opinion, the upholstery needs to be cleaned or can be renewed (by us upon request). The chair is in good condition with normal signs of use and aging.
