A very beautiful extendable dining table, circa 1960. Designed by the Danish designer LB Kofod Larsen and manufactured in France by NF. A superb blend of solid wood, with a mahogany base and a satin-finished teak top. Beneath the top, two independent veneered extensions slide out, increasing the table's width from 160 cm to 200 cm (with one extension) and finally to 240 cm (with both extensions). The table measures 89 cm deep and 74.5 cm high. Note the slightly beveled edge of the tabletop, known as the "airplane wing" edge, which lends a light and airy feel to the piece. In excellent condition (there is only a tiny chip on the tabletop and a slightly scratched corner on one extension, neither of which detracts from its overall appearance; see the last two photos), this high-quality table will be a centerpiece in your dining area.
