Vintage octagonal stainless steel tray 18/8, Art Deco style, 1950-70s.

Vintage serving platter made of 18/8 stainless steel, produced in Europe in the mid-20th century. Its octagonal shape with cut corners and multi-level architectural border clearly reflects the Art Deco style. The geometric lines, symmetry, and stepped profile echo the decorative vocabulary of the 1920s–1930s, here reinterpreted in a later, understated, and functional piece. Made from 18/8 stainless steel — an alloy containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel — the platter features a shiny surface that particularly highlights its geometric relief.
