Bedside Table "Somno" Empire style

Created under the consulate - in the early years of the reign of napoleon I - the somno or somneau is presented as a small piece of furniture in the shape of a cylindrical or square table, composed of a closed part that offers storage space. It is placed in the bedroom, often next to the bed to serve as a nightstand. It was under the empire that this table took the name of "somno", from the latin somnus which means "sleep". Xxth reissue in solid wood. Functional state of use to be revived.
