Pair of old Persian kilims Kerman Sirjan Souzani – handmade – te

Superb pair of Persian kilims Kerman Sirjan / antique Souzani, entirely handwoven in wool, from Iran. Very beautiful artisanal work with geometric tribal patterns characteristic of Sirjan productions. The kilims feature a deep and warm palette with very beautiful natural shades, probably made from traditional vegetable dyes. The back reveals a fine and irregular Souzani weave typical of genuine ancient handwork. Dimensions: 130 X 230 cm each. Period: before the 1980s. Condition: very good overall condition considering the age, beautiful patina and excellent decorative presence. Ideal pieces for: * living room, * library, * character home, * bohemian, wabi-sabi or high-end contemporary interior. These antique kilims offer an authenticity and artisanal quality that is very far removed from modern industrial productions. "The borders have undergone subsequent restoration.
