DSC 106 chairs by Castelli by G. Piretti circa 1970

Set of 4 stackable chairs DSC 106 - Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli, Italy, 1960s-70s. Description. Icons of Italian design, these four stackable DSC 106 chairs were designed in 1965 by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli. They embody a vision of furniture where the elegance of lines meets technical ingenuity and functionality. Their immediately recognisable silhouette combines moulded plywood seats and backs, in a warm dark wood finish with mahogany tones, with a metal structure featuring graphic lines and visible joints. The contrast between the depth of the wood, the metallic details, and the slender legs gives them an appearance that is both industrial, vintage, and timeless. Designed for collective and professional spaces, these chairs are stackable, a true asset for optimising space without sacrificing the character of designer furniture. Our approach is part of a more responsible decorating philosophy, prioritising restoration, reuse, and the enhancement of existing pieces. All our pieces are restored in our Maison Louis 24 workshops in Haute Savoie in an eco-responsible manner. Excellent condition.
