Creil and Montereau "Madrid" Iron Earth Soup Tureen

Terre de fer soup tureen, from the creil et montereau factory, "madrid" model, dating from the end of the 19th century. It is decorated with magnificent polychrome poppies. The flowers, hand-painted with great precision, capture the essence of nature and add a touch of bucolic charm. Good condition, considering the period, brown stains on the lid (see photos). Our tableware is old, full of history. It may have some traces left by time, which adds to its charm. We also have, of the same model, 2 sets of 6 flat plates, 1 round deep dish, 1 round serving dish as well as 1 salad bowl with handles in other ads in our shop.
