Mid-century round ceramic planter designed by aldo londi for bitossi ceramiche italy in the 1960s. The glaze is decorated with geometric friezes and features the unmistakable rimini blu palette of deep blue, turquoise and sea green. A wonderful piece to add to a midcentury pottery collection or to decorate in an entryway, on a sideboard or open shelf. Marked to the underside "701/15 italy". Dimensions: height: 12 cm. Diameter: 15.5 cm. Condition: excellent vintage condition with some signs of age commensurate with the age of the piece, such as limescale deposits on the interior.
