Large antique mirror in a flame mahogany frame; 132x82 cm

Large vertical mirror in a solid wood frame with a superb flame mahogany veneer. Natural luminous and red reflections due to the wood's essence. The frame is simple and smooth, with a moulding surrounding the entire mirror, rounded in an arc at the two upper corners in the Louis Philippe style. The back is covered with wood. Lock and keyhole in brass still present. This mirror is antique and original; it is an old bonnetière door from the early 20th century. A beautiful mirror to place in a bedroom or dressing room, its simple shape fits all styles of decoration, in very good condition: there are discreet spots of pitting at the bottom of the mirror, and two marks resembling cracks near the lock, minor defects that do not affect the reflection.
