Harris And Solomon Lebus Mahogany Edwardian Chest Of Drawers

This high quality edwardian mahogany chest of drawers was made by harris and solomon lebus. The firm took out a 1904 patent relating to the construction of drawer sides (a framed panel, rather than solid wood), to reduce warping and subsequent sticking. A metal tag is attached to the drawer evidencing this and is shown in the photos. Most of the original handles are in place the bottom drawer has one handle replaced and locks are still in place no keys, the chest stands on a plinth base.
