Small vase of Murano orange patterns

Murano, a small island located off the coast of venice, has been the cradle of the production of the most prized glass works in the world since the fourteenth century. Over the centuries, craftsmen developed new techniques such as veneered glass (blown glass composed of several thicknesses of different shades obtained by the successive picking of several paraisons) which makes it possible to bring out more colors and patterns. This small lattimo vase (white glass like porcelain) is covered with orange relief patterns of modernist style, the foot is transparent white, the border of the opening is serrated. It is in very good condition despite its age, it just has traces of use inside that refuse to leave.
