Vintage Mid-Century Modern five-light chandelier featuring brass arms, teak wood accents, and hand-painted opaline glass shades. A beautiful Atomic Age design dating from the 1960s, combining Scandinavian warmth with sculptural modernist styling. Ideal as a statement pendant above a dining table, in a living room, or in an eclectic modern interior. The shades are especially distinctive, featuring hand-painted abstract motifs with red fading into white opaline glass. These shades were popular in countries such as East Germany; Czechoslovakia and Scandinavian countries. It is equipped with 5 E14 light bulb sockets. Measures: Height 62cm. Length of the glass shade +the wood bit 16cm. Total diameter 70cm. Pristine condition. All chrome work has been restored to its original beauty. New electrical installation.
