AIR FRANCE POSTER GEORGES MATTHIEU

Started a year earlier, Mathieu completed in 1967 the production of a series of posters for Air France, the initiative of which belongs to Pierre Sautet, commercial deputy director of Air France. This unique encounter between art and advertising culminated in the presentation of the posters on october 26, 1967 at the museum of modern art of the city of Paris. They were hugely successful: there were dozens of exhibitions organized in france and then around the world, and more than a million posters sold.
