Set of 8 Mahogany Empire Chairs

Superb set of 8 empire style chairs in solid mahogany, from the 19th century. These elegant and sturdy chairs have a curved back with a wide central crossbar in solid wood. The seat is covered in a beige fabric with fine stripes, sober and refined, in perfect harmony with the warm and patinated wood. The front armrests are finely carved in the shape of stylized dolphin heads, a characteristic detail of the empire style which brings a touch of refinement and originality to this set. The legs are slightly curved at the back and straight at the front, offering beautiful stability and a harmonious design. 🔹 condition good general condition with a beautiful patina of time. Some marks of use on the wood, but the set remains in excellent structural condition, with no play in the assembly. The seat fabric is clean and in good condition.
